Zobo started out as an experimental collaboration between Chef Romina and Chef Joie, who wanted to bring authentic flavours from West Africa, South Asia and Middle-East.
We strive to bring the originality of the cuisines but with a twist!
Zobo started off by serving Indian and Nigerian cuisine primarily in May 2021. And gradually have expanded into other regions as the spice profile is too similar to ignore.
The idea is to bring different flavours and dishes which are not easily or are rarely found in and around the GTA.
Chef Joie and Chef Romina have a combined experience of two decades in the food industry.
