MOTIVATION

My journey into the world of holistic wellness solutions began when I researched the benefits of terpenes to address my own health conditions. I live with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which has been described as the “evil cousin of PMS.” Every couple of weeks my physical and emotional PMDD symptoms became so intense and debilitating I would in essence shut down. During my “downtime” every month I was unable to work or be otherwise productive, or even spending time with my family. Many times, I was tempted to cave into despair. But I never gave up hope. I knew I could find a solution. And yes, it was on me to find a solution, because I did not get the help I needed from the medical system. I was left on my own to treat myself as best I could. Fortunately, my background in biology gives me a deep understanding of the intricacies of the human body and a thorough understanding of natural ingredients—what makes them useful and how they affect our health. So I used that knowledge to help me live my best life—in spite of my health.

BIRTH OF A BRAND

My desire to share what I’d learned with others led me to build the NatureMary brand. In fact, NatureMary became one of the first—if not the first— wellness company to unlock the healing powers of beta caryophyllene. My passion for research is ongoing and my commitment to developing effective formulas drives the brand's groundbreaking compositions. And it’s not just caryophyllene-containing products that are so helpful. The products are part of a complete holistic approach to physical and mental wellbeing that includes all aspects of self-care. We promote the big picture of self-care at NatureMary, because self-care is part of your journey to health.

RESEARCH

Through trial and error, I found that CBD and other cannabis derivative products brought relief, yet they came with risks I was unwilling to accept. So I began to read study after study, looking for natural plant-based alternatives. While researching the benefits of terpenes, I learned that the terpene beta caryophyllene activates the endocannabinoid system and is found in plants other than cannabis. I began experimenting with CBD alternatives and got fabulous results with caryophyllene extracted from cloves. What I learned from my research changed my life for the better, and I wanted to share the good news with others.
