Poetry Picnic in the Park
We'll read and write and workshop, eat, drink, talk, laugh, and maybe even cry a little. A picnic for poetry lovers to meet others.

Spend an afternoon at Apt 5 learning and practising the art of poetry writing and spoken word. 

  • Bring a journal, writing materials, and a willingness to explore your inner depths. 
  • Wear comfy clothes and prepare to amaze yourself.

One-Day Writing Retreat
Welcome to Apt 5, the place where we'll gather, the meeting spot. Here, as a group, we will conduct the alchemical magic of transforming the abstract into the tangible, exploring the edges of ideas, sharing and shaping them...together.

Price per person: $125 (includes lunch, beverages, & snacks)*
Date: June 11, 2022
Time: 10 am to 3 pm

  • Bring a journal and your favourite writing tools, wear comfy indoor clothes, and bring the right layers for outdoor weather--we may take a walk or sit in the yard to work or for a picnic-style lunch. 
  • Prepare yourself for vulnerability. 
  • Show up as the most authentic version of yourself. I promise, that's the way the world loves you best, and we will too.
