Following my beautiful Mum’s passing in Oct 2020 and intertwined with the lockdowns,  I needed an outlet, a purpose, something to help me work through my grief for everything going on in my world at that time. My Mum taught me some  basic crochet stitches when I was young. On my first Christmas without Mum, my Dad gifted me her knitting/crochet bag with all her needles/hooks etc, and so my crocheting journey began! I work best with short term goals. I make crocheted playfood for kids, stuffies, dolls, magnets, coasters, custom orders etc. I like to make unique things that make people smile and warm one’s heart!
