Hi, we are Nina, and Yasmin, Asha’s daughters, proud owners of Samosa Delight; Home of the best samosas in town.
To truly understand who we are, and how Samosa Delight came to be, we have to start at the very beginning. It all started nearly 11 yrs ago when a cheeky ambitious mother of four named Asha opened a little restaurant called Wiif in the heart of Weston Rd.
It wasn’t long before Wiif became a local hotspot know for Asha’s delicious food, and her amazing crispy samosas. Although her regulars loved her food, it soon became clear to Asha that it was her samosas that they could not get enough of. At the urging of her customers, friends, and family, Asha began selling her golden crispy treats at local farmer markets all over the city. In less than 1 season Wiif became home to the best samosas in town, and for Asha the unofficial “Samosa Lady of Weston” this was the start of something amazing…..
…..at least we all did until that fateful day Covid-19 brought the world, and our dreams to a screaming halt. Nearly 2 years later, Covid-19 continues to decimate nations, families, small businesses, but most of all, our way of life. Wiif, like so many family owned businesses, became just another casualty. Feeling the years of hard work finally catching up with her, Asha hung her apron, passed the recipe on to her daughters, and turned her sight on a new adventure…..retirement. This is where our story begins.
